Angel Roberto Figueroa-Suarez, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026.

Born on August 19, 1957, Angel lived a life filled with adventure, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved. He was known for his passion for photography, drones, model airplanes, and sailboats. Throughout his life, he enjoyed exploring the world through both the lens of a camera and the open road.  His had a great sense of humor and loved to make his friends and family laugh.

Angel proudly served our country as a member of the US Army and went on to work as a long-haul truck driver, a profession that allowed him to experience countless places and meet people from all walks of life. His adventurous spirit, independent nature, and love for learning left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, René Emilio Figueroa-Marini and Isabel Matilde Suarez-Figueroa.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved sister, Isabel Figueroa; his brothers, René Figueroa (Janie) and Enrique Figueroa ; his nieces, Christina (Tim), Paula, and Isabella; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Angel’s family finds comfort in the many memories shared throughout his life and in knowing that his legacy will continue through those who loved him.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Angel’s memory.

Though he may no longer travel the roads he loved, his journey continues in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. ❤️
