Billy "Bo" Rayford Bridges, known fondly as Bo by those who loved him, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2026. Born on September 22, 1956, at Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, Georgia, Bo's life was a heartfelt journey marked by his boundless love for the outdoors and devotion to his family.

Bo’s passion for nature defined much of who he was. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and joy spending time on the water—fishing, boating, rafting, and camping were more than hobbies; they were threads woven deeply into the fabric of his life. His spirit reflected the calm strength of the rivers he loved and the warmth of the sun-dappled woods that were his retreat.

He was born into the loving family of Thomas Calvin Bridges and Elizabeth Mary Morgan, whose memory he cherished dearly. Alongside his steadfast parents, his beloved wife, Annette Ellis Bridges, with whom he shared years of love and partnership, preceded him in passing. Bo also mourned the losses of his brother Thomas Ray Bridges and his sisters Patricia Ann Pero and Wanda Darlene Lane, whose presences remain forever in his heart.

Bo’s legacy lives on vibrantly through his daughters: Jada Lowe, who shares her life with Travis Estes, Crystal (Starr) Townshend, and Kayla Bridges. The close bond of family also extended to his brother Jeff Bridges, who stands as a pillar of support and remembrance.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bo’s remarkable life during a memorial service to be held on July 18, 2026. The gathering will take place at Salacoa Creek Park, located at 388 Park Dr NE, Ranger, Georgia, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. This peaceful setting will be the perfect tribute to Bo's love of the outdoors and the abundant joy he found in the natural world around him.

Though Bo has departed from this earthly life, his spirit, noble and free as the rivers and forests he loved, will continue to inspire all who knew him. His example of living with integrity, kindness, and an adventurous heart leaves a lasting imprint, a tender echo of a life well-lived and deeply cherished.
