He devoted much of his life to a career in construction, where his craftsmanship and dedication earned him much respect within his field.
Billy was not only known for his work ethic but also for his vibrant personality. He had a delightful sense of humor and could weave a story that would enchant anyone who gathered around to listen. His love for his family was profound, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Though he sometimes struggled to express his feelings, his love was ever-present and unwavering.
A loving father, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchild. His beloved grandchild, Elijah Fuller, was a source of joy for him. His family will never forget the excitement in his voice when learning about his long-lost family. That moment will forever be a cherished memory for those who knew him.
Billy's interests were as lively as his personality. He enjoyed night fishing and spent many evenings around bonfires, sharing laughter and music. A true rock and roll enthusiast, his playlists echoed with the vibrant sounds that matched his zest for life.
In his journey, Billy showcased remarkable strength and resilience. One of his proudest accomplishments came in 2025 when he committed himself to sobriety and gave his life to God, becoming a living testimony of redemption and hope.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his devoted daughter, Joanna Fuller, and siblings Rhetta, Lawanda, Vickie, Robert, Bryan, Giselle and Todd. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Achee, and mother, Joann Billings Fuller.
Arrangements are entrusted into the care of In Their Honor in Fairmount, Georgia. Billy Joe Fuller will be remembered not only for his remarkable contributions to his work and family but also for the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.
