Bonita Strickland Nelson, age 76, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on January 17, 2026.

Born on March 30, 1949, in Birmingham, Alabama, Miss Nelson was a respected builder and developer in the construction industry, known for her dedication, work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Ben Louis Nelson, and two sons.

She was preceded in death by her father, C. Lynn Strickland, and her mother, Theodosia Hamilton McKeller.
