Brenda Eassey
Moore
February 3, 1948 – May 9, 2026
Brenda Eassey Moore, a gentle soul whose life was woven with love, dedication, and quiet joy, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. Born on February 3, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia, Brenda's life journey was one marked by warmth, kindness, and a passion for the simple pleasures that brought happiness to those around her.
Growing up in Atlanta, Brenda developed a love of gardening, finding peace and purpose in nurturing life from soil to bloom. Her affinity for tending to her garden was matched only by her tender care for her beloved pets, companions who found in her a gentle guardian and affectionate friend. Brenda’s heart was large and generous, extending to the kitchen where her cooking became a heartfelt expression of comfort and creativity, and to outings that sparked joy in shopping excursions that were as much about connection as they were about discovery.
A proud alumna of Roosevelt High School, Brenda embraced the evolving world of technology, working as a computer programmer and later in management. Her career took a compassionate turn when she joined a veterinarian office as an administrator, melding her love of animals with her professional talents until her retirement. Throughout all her endeavors, Brenda's integrity, warmth, and steady spirit left an indelible mark on colleagues and friends alike.
At the center of Brenda’s world was her beloved husband, Gary, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they crafted treasured memories, especially during their vacations at their Florida home near the beach—mornings filled with the tranquil sounds of waves, afternoons spent in sunny camaraderie, and evenings wrapped in the quiet comfort of togetherness. Their bond was a testament to a lifetime of shared dreams and unwavering devotion.
Brenda is survived by her brother Edward “Sonny” Eassey, her niece Mallory Scanga, and her cousin Dorothy M. Edmunds. They, along with many others, carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy M. Saulter, her father, George Eassey, and her brother, George “Buddy” Eassey.
Though Brenda has left this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the many lives she touched with her quiet grace. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned for the future to honor and remember a remarkable woman whose life radiated warmth at every turn.
May Brenda Eassey Moore’s memory be a blessing and her love an everlasting light to all who knew her.
