Brenda Thorn passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born on October 17, 1941, in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Canada, Brenda lived a life marked by devotion, strength, and love. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, a chapter of her life that reflected her sense of commitment and character. She also found joy in the things that brought people together. She loved bowling and achieved the remarkable feat of rolling several perfect 300 games, an accomplishment that spoke to both her skill and determination. She was also a devoted fan of Alabama Crimson Tide college football, cheering on her team with enthusiasm.

Above all else, Brenda’s heart belonged to her family. She loved her family so much, and her proudest accomplishment was being a mom. She doted on her children and on her other children as well—her beloved pets—showering them with the same warmth, care, and affection that defined her life. The love she gave so freely will remain one of the most lasting gifts she leaves behind.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, both of her sisters, and her brother. Their memories remained part of her life, and now she is reunited with them.

Brenda will be remembered for her loving spirit, her deep pride in her family, her loyalty, and the happiness she found in the people and companions she cherished most. Her life was one of care, dedication, and heartfelt love, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
