With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carolann Pecchio O'Brien who left this world on January 31, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on May 26, 1951, in the vibrant city of New York, Carolann illuminated the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her and she left an enduring impact upon each of them. Carolann had the voice of an angel and now she is singing with the angels.

In New York, Carolann and her brother, Charles Pecchio, were members of the Vectors, a 1960's rock band. Later in life, they brought music and fond memories to the residents of nursing homes and senior living facilities in Bartow County and Floyd County, Georgia.

During the first few decades of her life, Carolann lived in the Bronx and spent each summer at Lake Oscawana, about an hour North of New York City.  After she married, she and her husband moved to the lake. Later, their journey led them to Florida, where she was a successful real estate agent helping many families discover their dream homes.

Over the past two decades, Carolann spent most of her time living In Kingston, Georgia, operating a restaurant for a few years where she sang regularly and then managing a quaint antique shop. Her love of animals was known throughout the community and she welcomed into her home many cats and dogs in need of her care.

Despite her petite stature, Carolann was a beacon of strength whose common sense and values have been passed on through her daughters, Lauren and Emily, to her grandchildren, Roman, Remington, Frankie, and Lenix. Each of them holds a piece of her heart, as do her nephew, Chip Pecchio, and her niece Pamela Pecchio, drawing strength from her unwavering love and encouraging presence.

Though Carolann's husband, Louis J. O'Brien, along with her loving parents, Charles Angelo Pecchio and Concetta Rose (Conte) Pecchio, have predeceased her, their memories continue to shine brightly in the stories shared among the loved ones she cherished. The family bonds she nurtured remain unbreakable, echoing the love she infused into every moment.

In honor of Carolann's remarkable life, a private family gathering and celebration of her life is being planned. This occasion will provide an opportunity for reflection and appreciation of the profound ways she touched lives. Carolann’s legacy—woven into the fabric of her family and friends—will forever resonate with the virtues she embodied: strength, determination, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

As we remember Carolann Pecchio O'Brien, we celebrate the vibrant tapestry of her experiences and connections that continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Care of Carolann has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
