Charles Vincent Glover, 65, passed away on June 1, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will never be forgotten.

Born on April 9, 1961, in Beaufort, North Carolina, Charles grew up and spent most of his life in Key West, Florida, a place that suited him perfectly. He loved the sunshine, the beach, and being out on the water. He also had a lifelong fascination with space and everything NASA. He could spend hours watching launches, reading about missions, and talking about the mysteries of the universe. Along with his love of space, Charles enjoyed motorcycles, boats, cars, and just about anything with a motor. If it went fast, made noise, could be fixed, or had an engine, Charles was interested.

Charles was the kind of man who could fix almost anything. A true jack of all trades, he was always building, repairing, or figuring out how to make something work. But what people will remember most wasn't what he could do with his hands—it was the kind of person he was. Charles had a big heart, an easy smile, and a way of making people feel welcome. He was the guy who would help anyone who needed it and never expected anything in return.

He loved to laugh and loved making other people laugh even more. Whether he was telling stories, joking around, or finding a way to turn an ordinary day into an adventure, Charles brought joy wherever he went. His nieces and nephews especially knew this side of him. "Uncle Charles" wasn't just an uncle—he was the fun uncle. The one who made memories, encouraged mischief, and made every gathering better just by being there.

Though he never had children of his own, being an uncle was one of the greatest joys of his life. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in being part of their lives. The love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the many people fortunate enough to call him family and friend.

Charles loved the Lord and his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with those who went before him.

Charles is lovingly remembered by his Aunt Lila Garcia; his sisters, Carrol Bentz, Dianne Wagner, and Veronica Zoll; his brother, Alex Glover; his nieces, Vickey Baldree and Michelle Rowland; his nephews, Buddy Bentz, Michael Larison, and Devin Zoll; and his beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison, Addison, Adeline, Kadence, and Devin Baldree, Dustin Ferguson Jr., Kaitlyn and Kristen Rowland, and Alexander Larison.

He was preceded in death by his father, Graydon Glover; his mother, Arline Brennan Zoll; and his uncle, Louis Garcia.

A family celebration of Charles' life will be held at a later date.

Charles will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, love of motorcycles, boat races, and the water, fascination with NASA and space exploration, and the countless laughs he shared with the people he loved. He had a way of making life more fun and making people feel welcome. The world is a little quieter without him, but the memories, stories, and love he leaves behind will continue to bring smiles for years to come.
