Charles was born in Winder, Georgia on December 15, 1946 to Elizabeth Ward Scott and Elisha (Junior) Scott.
Charles is survived by his wife of 48 years Arlene Davis Scott, Sons Jason Scott, Jarrod Scott (Susan), Stepson Bob McHan, Stepdaughters Jerri Lynn Forrester (James) and Denise Stanley (Barry), Grandchildren Zach Seabolt, Jacob Scott (Alexis), Jackson Scott, Gina Reynolds (Mason), Will Scott, Joanna Scott, Spencer Scott and 2 Great Grandchildren Joshua and John Luke Scott.
A private service to be held at a later date.
