Claudia Lieberman, who was born on June 20, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 8, 2026. She was the first of three girls, and throughout her life she was known as the best big sister, a role she carried with love, warmth, and steady encouragement.

Claudia will be remembered as a friendly and outgoing woman whose happiness lifted those around her. She had a naturally encouraging spirit and brought kindness into everyday moments. Her love for all kinds of arts and crafts reflected her creativity and joy, and she also found meaningful purpose in working in activities in the nursing home, where her caring nature and enthusiasm touched many lives.

Family was an important part of Claudia’s life. She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Lavin and Julie Rice, with whom she shared the lifelong bond of being one of three sisters. The love between them was a lasting part of her story, and Claudia’s place as a devoted and cherished big sister will be remembered with deep affection.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mildred and Sidney Lieberman, whose memory remained part of her life.
