Daniel "Danny" William Bright, fondly known as Bubba, was born on November 20, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed away on November 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by his unwavering love for family and his remarkable skills as a woodworker.

Danny was an outgoing individual whose vivacious spirit touched everyone he met. He had a willingness to help others whenever a need arose.  He would drive long distances to carry the heavy load for someone in need.  A dedicated Army veteran and Vietnam veteran, he exemplified the qualities of hard work and commitment not only during his service but throughout his life. He devoted himself to providing for his loved ones, ensuring that they were surrounded by both material and emotional support.

His passion for woodworking was evident in the beautiful gifts he crafted for others. He took great pride in his projects, and his workshop was a sanctuary where he spent countless hours honing his craft and collecting tools. Alongside woodworking, Danny enjoyed fishing, often finding peace and joy in this beloved pastime.

Danny's family remembers him with great fondness. His wife, Karen Pilcher-Bright, cherishes the memories of their first meeting on St. Patrick's Day in 1986—the day she describes as the greatest of her life. Together, they shared many happy moments, particularly when Karen lent a helping hand on his wood projects. Their daughter, Kimberly Bright, along with his father, William Bright, sisters Marie (Steve) Hilliard and Kathy Bright, and his beloved four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, carry his spirit and creativity within them. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will hold his memory close to their hearts.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Marie Vickery Bright. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know him. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of In Their Honor Funeral & Cremation Providers in Fairmount, Georgia.
