Throughout his career, Jody established himself not only as a talented guitarist and songwriter but also as a dedicated warehouse manager at Elliott Electric Supplies, where he made significant contributions until his untimely passing. His love for music was matched only by his deep affection for his children, who were the center of his universe. Those who knew him best often remarked on his big heart and his unwavering support for the underdog, embodying a spirit that uplifted those around him.

Jody's personality shone brightly; he was described as "happy go lucky" by his father, which perfectly encapsulated the joy he brought into everyday life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Beth Parker; his cherished children, Samuel Parker, Daniel Joseph Parker III, and Noah Brewington; and his adored grandchildren, Aiden Brewington and Harrison Parker. Jody is also survived by his parents, Daniel Joseph Parker Sr and step-mom, Julie Parker, and Beverly Rollins. He is predeceased by his sister, Shelley Parker, who will be dearly missed.
