David Wayne Robertson, born on April 24, 1952, in Trion, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, in Canton, Georgia. He was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him.

David dedicated 25 years of his career to working as a handyman at Anderson Remodeling, where he had the privilege of working alongside his best friend, Mickey Anderson. His work was characterized by his commitment, skill, and the camaraderie he shared with those around him.

David was known for his vibrant personality; he had the gift of making others smile effortlessly. Whether sitting comfortably on his couch or sharing moments with his sister, Gina, he brought joy and laughter into every setting. Family members fondly recall how he would jokingly stomp on their toes with his cane, creating laughter that filled the room for what felt like an eternity. His humor was a unique trait that illuminated every gathering and served as a reminder of the warmth and positivity he exuded.

In his personal life, David was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and devoted numerous Saturdays from 10 a.m. until midnight to watching "Law & Order: SVU." This simple yet profound passion for television was as integral to his character as his love for family and friends.

David's legacy will live on through his beloved family. He is survived by his son, Shane Robertson; son, David Wheeler; daughter, Noel Wheeler; ex-wife, Linda Mae Robertson; and cherished grandchildren, Maliah Robertson and Nikitta Robertson. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews, Gina Harris and Lynn Harris (Bobby), Chris Benson, Mary Alice Moss; great nieces and nephews, including Crystal Nelson, Kisha Dixon, Terri Thompson, Cheyenne Harris, Justin Forrester, Nikki Sizemore, Brittany Harris, and Charlene Fincher; as well as his great-great nieces and nephews, Trista Ann Panky and Issac Harris.

David was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cyrus Robertson and Ruby Stancil Robertson; his brother, Sammy Tallent; sister, Patricia Ann O'Hare; and brothers, Preston Robertson and Jimmy Lee Robertson.

David Wayne Robertson will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. His vibrant spirit and joyful laughter will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of In Their Honor Funeral & Cremation in Fairmount, Georgia.
