David William Wofford, born on July 18, 1950, in Jasper, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Rome, Georgia. He was a man whose life brought joy and laughter to those around him, renowned for his humorous spirit and vibrant personality. David was the quintessential jokester, often lighting up any gathering with his wit and charm. Known as the life of the party, he had a knack for making everyone feel welcomed and included.

David loved the outdoors and cherished the moments spent in nature, whether it was fishing or riding motorcycles. His fondness for adventure was equally reflected in his hobbies, particularly his passion for working on cars. Memories shared with him at cookouts by the creek and exhilarating rides on 4-wheelers at the hunting club will forever warm the hearts of those who knew him. Following breakfast, you could often find him enjoying his favorite show, The Price is Right, a simple yet cherished routine that brought him joy.

David's family and friends included his beloved brother, James Wofford (Hazel) and Sammy Wofford (Judy), along with his beloved nieces and nephews who maintained a special place in his heart throughout his life. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to share in his laughter and love.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Lettie Wofford, as well as his siblings: sister Bertie Benson; brothers Winston Wofford, Elbert Wofford, and JD Wofford; and sister Myrtle Collis. Each of these family members played a significant role in his life, and they now reunite in eternal rest.
