Delores Golebiewski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Cartersville, Georgia. Born on May 1, 1942, in Highland Park, Michigan, Delores was a vibrant spirit known for her zest for life and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Delores, whose maiden name was Gilmore, took immense pride in her family, cherishing every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Tony Alongi; her daughter, Vicky Lange (Bill); and her grandchildren, David Bean (Zuly), Mindy VanAcker (Nick), Shayne Alongi, Nicole Sweet (Kevin), and Christopher Sewell Alongi. Delores was also a doting great-grandmother to Trent Bean, Alexis VanAcker, Tyler VanAcker, Devin Bean, Isaac Sisk, Jase Sisk, and Benjamin Sisk, as well as a great-great-grandmother to Elizabeth VanAcker. Her sister, Paula Stowe, along with several nieces and nephews, also carry her memory forward.

Delores's personality was as colorful as her interests. She had a passion for exploring flea markets, indulging in chocolate ice cream, and proudly supporting her "red wings." A devoted pet owner, she adored her dog, Pierre, who brought unconditional joy to her life. Delores was also an avid television viewer, often found watching NCIS and Judge Judy on repeat. Her love for sports further showcased her vibrant personality and enthusiasm for life.

Tony fondly remembers the laughter shared with his mother, especially the moments when she donned her unique Lindy's outfit, complete with workout pants and a "funky" hat. These cherished memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Golebiewski; her parents, Paul and Velma Gilmore; and her siblings, Tommy Gilmore and Shirley Nasceif. The legacy she leaves behind is one of love, warmth, and countless unforgettable memories.
