Dennis Michael Anthony, affectionately known as Denny, was born on April 9, 1955, in York, Pennsylvania. He departed from this world on November 10, 2025, in Acworth, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and friendship that touched many lives.
Denny spent a decade of his life working as a beloved friend at UPS, where he was cherished by his colleagues and customers alike. His warmth and approachable nature meant that he never met a stranger. While he could be reserved at times, his compassion and genuine love for everyone around him were evident. Denny's strong will and stubbornness were balanced by a precious spirit that endeared him to those fortunate enough to know him.
A man of great passions, Denny was a huge fan of both Steelers football and Phillies baseball. He brought enthusiasm and joy to conversations about his teams, sharing in the highs and lows of the seasons with fervor. One memory held dear by his family comes from a memorable outing to a Falcons game, which Ryan recalls vividly. At that game, Denny stood confidently between two imposing figures, singing "Beautiful World" at the top of his lungs, a testament to the love and exuberance he had for life and those he cherished.
Denny leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Michael Anthony, and daughter-in-law, Kelly; his daughter, Lisa Angel, and son-in-law, Ryan; his daughter, Tricia Parker, and son-in-law, John. He was a proud grandfather to Wyatt Angel, Charlotte Anthony, Allison Angel, Savannah Anthony, Reygan Parker, Colton Parker, and Olivia Parker, all of whom carry forward his spirit and legacy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mae Anthony, and his brother, Tom Anthony. The impact Denny had on his family and friends will forever resonate in their hearts and memories.
