Edward’s life was marked by warmth, generosity, and an infectious joy for spending time with those he loved.

Edward Galvan, beloved husband, devoted son, cherished father, and caring brother, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for his family. Born on September 18, 1967, Edward’s life was marked by warmth, generosity, and an infectious joy for spending time with those he loved.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, whose partnership and companionship enriched every moment they shared together. He was the deeply devoted son of Beatriz, and is now reunited in spirit with his father, Ruben Sr., whose memory lived fondly in Edward’s heart.

The bonds of family were central to Edward’s life. His sisters—Marylou, Joann, and Antonia—and his brother, Ruben Jr., remember him as someone who brought the family together, who offered a listening ear and a helping hand whenever needed. Family gatherings were always brighter in Edward’s presence; his laughter was the soundtrack of many cherished memories.

Edward’s greatest pride was his children—Christine, Edward Jr., Isreal, Jacob, Christopher, Augustine, Jackie, and James. He loved them dearly and supported them in their every endeavor, instilling in each a sense of compassion and integrity that mirrors his own. Their partners—Kristen, Hailey, and David—were welcomed with open arms, and Edward treasured the growing circle of love around his family.

To friends and relatives alike, Edward was known for his love of togetherness. Time with friends and family was not just a hobby for him—it was the core of his happiness. He recognized that life’s greatest joys were found in simple moments shared with those he held close. Edward’s warmth created a sense of belonging for everyone in his company; he leaves behind countless memories of gatherings filled with laughter and heartfelt conversations.

While his journey on this earth has come to an end, Edward’s legacy endures in the lives of those who loved him. His spirit lives on in the traditions he nurtured, the wisdom he imparted, and above all, in the profound love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will be cherished always by all whose lives he touched.
