Emory Paul Blankenbecler, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away at the age of 88. He was born on March 22, 1932 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Minnie Fletcher and Paul Blankenbecler.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he spent his entire career in the insurance industry, remaining dedicated to his work until the very end.

He is survived by his three loving children, Cindy Blankenbecler Kreis, Todd Benton, and Bryon Paul, and his grandchildren Hazen IV, Steven, Hailey, Caroline, Charlotte, Drew, Katie, and Adam.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lou Scott McConnell Blankenbecler.

A memorial service will be held on August 6, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.
