Eugene Raymond Higuera 88, of Villa Rica, GA passed away Friday, July 24, 2026.

Gene was born August 12, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA.

Gene was a devoted family man whose quiet strength and steady presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His Catholic faith was a deep and constant source of strength throughout his life. A committed member of the Knights of Columbus, he gave generously of his time and energy in service to Catholic charities, living out his beliefs through quiet acts of charity and leadership.

In his career, he served as Vice President of Credit Operations of Parisian Inc.

We find comfort in knowing he has been joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, the love of his life and his dearest friend. The special bond they shared was an inspiration to all who witnessed it. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Elizabeth) of Villa Rica, Daughter, Mary Higuera Mitchell of Calera AL

Grandchildren, John Higuera (Whitney) of Marietta,GA, Heather Jones (Adam) of Sterling, VA.

Greatgrandchildren, James and Gabriel Higuera of Marietta, GA

Sister, Gloria Nixt of Palm Springs, CA

He was preceded in death by his beautiful and beloved wife, Patricia Higuera; his parents, Epaminondas and Josephine Higuera; and his brother, Epaminondas “Joe” Higuera.

Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday August 12, 2026 at St John Vianny Catholic Church in Lithia Springs GA.
