Eva Elaine Quarles, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away on July 16, 2025, in Chatsworth, Georgia. Born on December 24, 1967, in Dalton, Georgia, Eva brightened the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
She shared her life with her husband of 23 years, Larry Quarles. Their bond was marked by shared passions, including their love for watching the Atlanta Braves play. Together, they created cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of their family.
Eva's joy for life was evident in her hobbies; she found great pleasure in fishing and camping, often spending time by the water. One of her fondest memories was a delightful fishing trip with their son, Nicholas, where he proudly caught a sizeable bass, showcasing his talent and enthusiasm for the outdoors. She couldn't wait to tell the world how big the fish was that her son caught! She also loved the winter months, particularly when the snow cloaked the mountains, turning the scenery into a magical wonderland.
Throughout her life, Eva was known for her sweetness and kindness. She was a person who never spoke a bad word about anyone, earning her a lasting place in the hearts of those around her. One memory that was forever etched into Eva's memory was the many times she would spend floating down the river with her daughter, Brandi. The times she spent living by the river were among the happiest of her life, filled with laughter and joy as she made countless memories with family and friends.
Eva is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Quarles; her children, Nicholas Stiles (Kristie) and Brandi Tant (Chris); and her cherished grandchildren, Avalee Stiles, Ellie Tant, Alana Tant, Landon Souther, and Marley Stiles. She also leaves behind many special aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in her heart.
