Frank Junior Patterson, Jr.
December 2, 1956 – January 16, 2026
Frank Junior Patterson, Jr. passed away on January 16, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him always. Frank was a kind, gentle man whose love was steady and constant.
Born on December 2, 1956, in Madison, Alabama, Frank spent his life rooted in family and hard work. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an EM3 aboard the USS Halsey CG23. that dedication followed him throughout his life, long after his service ended.
Frank spent many years working in HVAC, a trade that took him places he never imagined, even as far as the Bahamas. He was proud of his work, but never boastful. He simply did what needed to be done. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and found satisfaction in fixing, adjusting, and improving things—taking quiet pride in making things work the way they should.
Frank enjoyed watching events such as NASCAR, football, baseball and golf. In his younger years, he played baseball with his family, moments now held close and remembered with smiles. He found comfort at the beach, peace in the sound of the waves.
Frank is survived by his three children, Crystal Patterson, Vivian Donaldson, and Damien Patterson. A loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Harris, and her family who will continue to carry his memory forward.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr and Loretta as well as his siblings, Jerry and Deborah.
Frank will be missed in the quiet moments. Though he is no longer here, his love remains, held gently in the hearts of those who knew him. He was deeply loved, and always will be.
