Frederick Scott Gann, lovingly known as Freddy, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 47. He was born on September 6, 1978, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, to Ruth Evelyn Gann and Madison Joseph Gann. Freddy grew up in Marietta and was surrounded by love throughout his life.

Freddy was a truly special soul. He was one of the sweetest, most loving, and happiest people you could ever meet. He had a pure heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of making friends wherever he went. His contagious smile, laughter, and kind spirit brought joy to everyone who knew him.

Freddy loved the simple things that made him happy, especially country music, watching Days of Our Lives, enjoying a good Dr. Pepper, and, of course, his Tootsie Rolls. These little things brought him so much happiness and are now part of the memories that will always remind his loved ones of him.

Freddy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ruth Evelyn Gann, a renowned nurse who devoted 52 years of her life to caring for others, and Madison Joseph Gann, along with other loved ones who will be remembered with him.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Allen Gann; nieces Chloe Evelyn Rose Gann and Aspen Frances Georgiana Stone Gann; nephew Benjamin Tyler Wyatt; and many other loving family members and friends.

Freddy’s life was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his pure heart, his loving nature, his sense of humor, and the happiness he brought wherever he went. Though he is deeply missed, the love and memories he gave us will remain forever.

Rest peacefully, Freddy. You were loved more than words can say.

Care of Freddy has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
