James Fredrick Berry, born on December 29, 1953, in Glennville, Georgia, left this world on November 4, 2025, at his daughter's home, surrounded by the cherished love of his family. A proud Army veteran, James was a man whose life was anchored in dedication and hard work, most notably as a remarkable forklift operator. He embodied a work ethic that was both admirable and inspiring, often earning the respect and affection of those who knew him.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing James often spoke of him as the kindest soul, someone whose heart was as big as his joyful spirit. He was a beacon of generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile. His life was characterized by an unwavering kindness that touched the lives of many, reflecting his deeply rooted belief in the importance of community and connection. James was not just a family man; he was a social butterfly, thriving in the company of friends and loved ones. His vibrant personality shone brightest when surrounded by laughter and camaraderie, reminding us all of the beauty found in togetherness.

James is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Dymeshia Berry, and his son, Jameson Berry. He leaves behind a long-life partner, Qurmancy Badie, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. James's siblings, Patricia Lovett, Pennie Berry, Bridgett Berry, and Charles A. Berry alongside his wife Joan share in the warmth of his memory, as do his cousin/brother, LaNorris Coley, and his wife Maxine. Granddaughter's Aneyah and Alayna, along with Grandson Braden Stephens will all miss their Grandfather. He also leaves a legacy through his aunts, Yvonne and Rose, and many beloved nephews—Drexel, Delwin, Derrick, Mathew, Marquette, Anthony, Antonio, and Christopher—along with a cherished niece, Charhonda. Additionally, James took immense pride in his role as a great uncle to 20 great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew, all of whom will carry his spirit forward.

As we reflect on James’s extraordinary life, we remember him not just as a hardworking man but as a kind-hearted individual whose love transcended in every interaction. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. James Fredrick Berry’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
