His loving brother Don Barry, sons Cameron Allen Barry, Robert Allen Barry, and Samu Talkaru and daughter Crystal McPheeters. Sisters Patricia Barry Palczynski, and Wanda Fay Peffly survive him. Joe is survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His father, Willard Allen Barry; mother, Lillian Ogle Allen; and sister, Elizabeth Barry, who have passed on, were foundational figures in his life and remain cherished in memory.
