IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joellene Alexander
Atchley
February 1, 1949 – March 2, 2026
Joellene Pearl Alexander Atchley, born on February 1, 1949, in the quaint town of White, Georgia, embarked on her final journey on March 2, 2026. She was a beacon of love and strength, whose indomitable spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
As a dedicated homemaker, Joellene poured her heart and soul into her family, nurturing their lives with warmth and affection. She was a passionate woman, embodying the essence of a true rebel at heart, having an unwavering love for icons such as Dale Earnhardt, Elvis Presley, and Waylon Jennings. Her exuberance for life and vivacious spirit created countless cherished memories that her loved ones will carry forth, each wrapped in laughter and love, as they gather to celebrate her remarkable life in the future.
Joellene is survived by her three beloved daughters: the eldest, Tammy Leach and husband Mark; the middle child, Donna Brown and husband Dwayne; and the youngest, Kirstie Atchley, all residing in White, Georgia. Her former husband, Donald Atchley, remains a treasured part of her life story. Joellene also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Kaye Holmes and Dawn Wright, who shared in many joyful moments throughout their lives together. She was also blessed with great-grandsons Bodhi Brown and Patton Leach and her only great-granddaughter, Willow Brown.
The legacy of her love extends to her grandchildren, Ethan Leach, Zoie Brown, and Kross Lowery, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She was especially devoted to her grandsons, including Remington Brown, who preceded her in death and whom she adored unconditionally. Her fondness for her feline companions was well-known, with a special place in her heart held for her cat, Precious Pussy Willow, and another loyal pet, Dirty White Boy.
Joellene was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Bessie Sattersfield; her father, Joel Alexander; and her brother, Harold Owen Alexander. As her family and friends move forward, they carry with them the vibrant spirit of Joellene—her laughter, her charm, and the rebellious spark that made her truly one of a kind. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her memory will remain forever alive in their hearts.
Care of Joellene has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
