John Albert Freeman III

John Albert Freeman III, born on October 1, 1954, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Blairsville, Georgia. His life was a harmonious blend of technology and music, as he carved out a remarkable career as both an IT expert and a dedicated jazz musician. John’s passion for music and his technical acumen were reflective of his creative spirit and intellectual prowess.

A proud alumnus of Emory University, he further pursued knowledge, earning a Master's degree from Emory Business School and another from Georgia Southern University. These accomplishments underscored his commitment to education and lifelong learning, showcasing his belief in the power of knowledge.

John's memory will be cherished by his loving sister, Susan Field (Taylor), along with his nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a number of cousins, who all hold fond memories of his warmth and creativity. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sue Freeman, whose influence shaped the man he became.

A memorial service to honor John's life and legacy will take place on July 23, 2025, at Sonshine Manor Personal Care Home in Blairsville, Georgia, starting at 11:00 AM. This gathering will be a celebration of his contributions to both his family and the fields in which he excelled, allowing loved ones to reflect on the rich life he led.
