John Morrison Jackson

John Morrison Jackson, 83, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ from

his home in Brookhaven, Georgia on July 29, 2020. John was originally

from Knoxville, Tennessee. After serving in the United States Air Force,

he worked as a carpenter specializing in custom woodworking. He was

predeceased by his parents, Beatrice Hyde Jackson and Morrison Pynk Jackson; brothers, David Alan Jackson 

and Steven Anthony Jackson.  He is survived by his sisters, Norma Jean Day, Evelyn Teague,

Agnes Laycock, and Mary Stinnett; his daughter, Jodi Jackson. Several

nieces and nephews also survived. His cremains will be overseen by his

sister, Agnes at a later date. His life taught us the power of forgiveness.
