Kathy Ann Rogers, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Kathy was a woman with a personality all her own. Known for her quick wit, playful sarcasm, and wonderfully dark sense of humor, she had a way of keeping those around her on their toes. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her perfectly timed, snarky remarks often brought laughter to those who knew her best.

Kathy enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially listening to audiobooks, sewing, and watching her favorite vampire television shows. Whether she was getting lost in a good story, working on a sewing project, or enjoying a little supernatural drama, she found happiness in the things she loved.

Those who knew Kathy understood that her unique personality was part of what made her so unforgettable. She had her own way of showing affection, sharing laughter, and making memories. Her sharp wit, unmistakable humor, and one-of-a-kind spirit will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Smith, and her sister, Sherrie Ingle.

She is survived by her children, Amy Blankenship and Charles Spurlock, Joshua Blankenship and Amanda Martin, and Sarah Rogers; and her grandchildren, Logan Blankenship, Joshua Zurita, Lyla Blankenship, Isla Casey, Finley Blankenship, Noah Casey, and Stella Parker.

Though Kathy may no longer be here to deliver one of her signature sarcastic remarks, the memories, laughter, and love she leaves behind will continue to bring smiles to those who knew her. She will be remembered for being unapologetically herself, and that is exactly how her family will carry her memory forward.
