Kenneth Edward Dickson

Kenneth Edward Dickson, born on August 3, 1959, departed from this world on June 11, 2025, in Trion, Georgia. He lived a life marked by vigor and an insatiable desire to embrace every moment. A loving father and devoted grandfather, Kenneth's spirit was defined by both his compassion for others and his zest for adventure.

Kenneth was known for his ability to make those around him smile and laugh, leaving lasting impressions through his vibrant personality. His family fondly recalls moments of joy, especially the time he flipped a four-wheeler in the snow—a testament to his eagerness to live life to the fullest. While that day left him sore, Kenneth didn’t let it deter him; he still mustered the energy to attend church the next day, embodying his resilient nature.

With a passion for tinkering and a love for fishing, Kenneth’s interests reflected his inquisitive mind and hands-on approach to life. He was not just a man of action, but also a source of wisdom for many. His family cherished the memories created during times spent together, with Kenneth’s proudest accomplishments being the moments shared with his grandchildren. Each memory crafted with them is a testament to his deep love and dedication as a grandfather.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved son, Derek Dickson (Madison), and is also remembered by his grandchildren, Madison Dickson, Ashlynn Dickson, Annie Dickson, Grayson Dickson, Liam McKinnon, and Daxton McKinnon. He is survived by his brother, David Dickson; his nephews, Daryl Dickson, Matthew Dickson, Jason Dickson (Amanda Fisher), along with their children: Jaden Blaze, Jayla Lynn, Jordyn Kylee Dickson, and Trudy Dawn Amos. He also leaves behind his aunt, Bonnie Murphy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Evlin Dickson, and his brother, Donnie Dickson.

Kenneth’s unique charm and adventurous spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends until they meet again.
