It is with heartfelt sympathy that In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers announces the passing of Marie Fox Whitener, age 77, of Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Cedar Valley Nursing Home in Cedartown, Georgia.

Marie was born on November 1, 1948, in Ellijay, Georgia, to the late Willie E. Fox and Myrtle L. Cantrell Fox.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Whitener; her son, Kelly Partin; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

At the family’s request, no formal services will be held.
