Mark Hintze, born on July 26, 1967, in Milan, Italy, left this world on August 11, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and friendship that touched many lives. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in business and marketing, which laid the foundation for a fulfilling career in sales before he embarked on a new journey in over-the-road trucking. Mark cherished the opportunity to see the country while enjoying the freedom of the open road.
Known for his sympathetic nature, Mark's vivacious personality endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was lovingly remembered by his family as a “wild child,” a testament to the joy and spontaneity he brought to their lives. His friends appreciated his infectious spirit and unwavering loyalty, as he strived to be a wonderful friend to everyone around him. Fishing and spending time outdoors were among his favorite pastimes, allowing him to connect with nature and find peace and happiness.
Mark is survived by his beloved mother, Sandra Hintze, and his brothers: John Hintze (Donna), David Hintze, and Michael Hintze (Nadine). In addition, he leaves behind his nieces, Thandie Hintze and Briana Hintze, and his nephew, Ian Hintze, Alida Hintze and Finnegan Hintze along with his cousins, Rob Hintze (Erica), and their children, Miller and Summit. He is also survived by his uncle, Robert (Barbara) Hintze. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Hintze.
As family and friends remember Mark, they will hold his vibrant spirit close to their hearts, grateful for the moments shared and the love he brought into their lives. His memory will forever live on through those who loved him dearly.
