Poem By Tracy Hernandez-
Papaw
A humble man
And his caring ways
Taught us a lot
About life in his days
A loving man
His family first
He made you smile
When you were at your worst
A caring man
He would listen to every word
And give the best advice
Sweetest words you ever heard
A gentle man
Patient and kind
Would always lend a hand
At the right time
The gaze he leaves
And the memories we hold
Are a lifetime of knowledge
That we keep for our own
God blessed us with a wonderful man
That gave his all
This story doesn’t end
With him being gone
It’s until we meet again
Until then, we’ll stay strong
