Pauline Virginia
Crawford
November 7, 1945 – March 30, 2026
Pauline Virginia Crawford, born on November 7, 1945, in Sacramento, California, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2026. She lived a life filled with dedication, love, and meaningful connections, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished by her family and those who knew her.
Pauline’s story began in Sacramento, where she was born into a family that included her beloved father, Rufus Hughes, and mother, Bonnie Hughes, both of whom preceded her in death. She also mourned the loss of her brother Wayne Hughes and her three sisters, Charlotte, Donna, and Rosalind Hughes. Their memories remain close to her heart even as she now rests beside them.
A graduate of Plant High School in Tampa, Florida, Pauline went on to devote over 25 years to the banking industry, where her professionalism and commitment were deeply admired. Beyond her career, she found joy and fulfillment in her hobbies — nurturing her garden, creating delightful meals in the kitchen, and most importantly, spending treasured time with her family. These were the moments that defined her spirit, a testament to how much she valued love and togetherness.
Pauline’s legacy lives on through her loving survivors: her eldest son Richard and his spouse Susan; her middle son Aaron and his spouse Lily Sanchez; and her youngest son Jason Crawford with his spouse Stephanie Crawford; along with her grandchildren, Cody Morris and Noah Crawford.
In accordance with Pauline’s wishes, a service will be held at a private family-chosen location where her ashes will be gently scattered in the ocean. This final act symbolizes her deep connection to nature and the peaceful freedom she cherished.
Pauline Virginia Crawford leaves behind a profound imprint of love, kindness, and strength. Though she has departed this world, her spirit will forever bloom in the gardens she tended, linger in the warmth of shared family meals, and echo in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered with every passing day.
Care of Ms. Crawford has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
