Ricky Lee
Hill
October 22, 1962 – March 3, 2026
Ricky Lee Hill, lovingly known to those who cherished him, was born on October 22, 1962, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He passed away on March 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, creativity, and his own kind of love for his family and friends.
Ricky was known fondly among his loved ones as the “Jack of all trades, Master of None.” Ricky was the first Hill grandchild. His crafty spirit and inventive nature shone brightly in everything he set his hands to. From writing and drawing intricate designs to creating beautiful jewelry, he filled his life with artistry that reflected his personality. He even thought he was Elvis most of his life, always dressing like him and singing his favorite songs. With a Bible always in hand or nearby, Ricky often talked of faith, taking solace in the words of scripture and often sharing them with those around him. His love for Gospel music echoed through his life, and he derived immense joy from singing along, uplifting the spirits of those nearby.
Each moment spent with his children, daughter Jessica Denise Williams (TJ), and son Justin Lee Smith, was a treasured opportunity for connection and joy. Jessica is artistic, loves to draw, crafty and expresses emotions through her love of writing and poetry. Justin is always turning nothing into something in a crafty way just like their dad always done. Ricky's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Allie May Williams, age 15 who loves to sing, learn guitar and ride horses, Thomas Hank Williams, age 9 who loves to draw, learn guitar and be outdoors in Gods nature, and Connor Bryson Hunt, age 7 who loves singing, and also being outdoors, all will carry forward the memories of his laughter and love. He is also survived by his mother, Lorene Hill, and siblings Mark Hill (Tammy), Garry Hill (Paula), and Robbie Dusty Hill, alongside several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. In our own ways we will miss the differences he carried out in his life. Also, even through many years later, his love for Angela carries on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren.
Ricky has met the Lord face to face and joined his father Bobby Lee Hill, his grand daughters Jenissa and Jelissa Denise McCall(twins) and his sisters Connie Faye Hill and Cynthia Lorene Hill, and brother Bobby Jr. His memory will forever resonate within the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Ricky Lee Hill had his own unique journey in life. He was a craftsman, and loved to sing. His light may have dimmed, but we hold on to the good memories we had with him, and let go and forgive the bad. With love, Till we have that happy reunion day.
A special note from his daughter Jessica : Romans 3:23 For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Acts 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. ** none of us are perfect, and we’re ALL worth the Lords saving grace! God loves YOU, He loves daddy, and He loves me. (I love the Lord, because He first loved me)
