Sally Louise Boffa, a beacon of kindness, generosity, and love, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Jasper, Georgia. Born on September 7, 1960, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Sally lived a life filled with devotion to her family, deep friendships, and a heartfelt desire to care for others.
At the center of Sally’s life was her beloved husband, Bruno, with whom she shared 25 wonderful years of marriage. They were truly the loves of each other’s lives. Their story began in London in the mid-1990s, when they met while working at Reuters. In the late 1990s, they moved from London to Georgia and built a beautiful life together, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Sally also built a successful career, including twenty dedicated years at Teradata. She was admired not only for her professionalism, but for her warmth, kindness, and ability to make lasting friends wherever she went. She brought joy and encouragement to those around her, and her friendships were a treasured part of her life.
More than anything, Sally loved her family. She was deeply loved by her extended family and would always do anything for the people she cared about. She had a special gift for bringing everyone together, making others feel welcome, and turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.
A fantastic cook, Sally was especially known for her wonderful Thanksgiving dinners, which brought family together around a table filled with love, laughter, and gratitude. She also delighted in organizing family holidays and memorable trips, creating traditions and moments that will be treasured for years to come.
Her generous spirit reached far beyond her own family. Sally found joy in helping others and spent countless hours making intricate Barbie costumes to donate to children less fortunate. She also loved gardening, traveling, and collecting antiques, especially her treasured teapots, each one reflecting her love of beauty, charm, and history.
Sally was also an animal lover, with a special affection for horses and cats. Her gentle nature and caring heart were evident in the love she showed not only to people, but to every animal she adored.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always: her devoted husband, Bruno; children Santino, Cristina, and Gianni; son- and daughter-in-laws Carmela, Dan, and Caity; grandchildren Theo, Elise, and Luciano; her mother, Jessie; brother Ken; sister Janet; brothers-in-law Darrel and Lillo; sister-in-law Tina; her mother-in-law, Liberata; and close friend Diane.
Sally is reunited in peace with those who went before her: her sister Nancy, her father Theodore, and her father-in-law Alec. Though deeply missed, they remain forever present in the hearts and memories of those who love them.
Sally’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, grace, and selflessness. Her warmth will live on in family gatherings, home-cooked meals, shared laughter, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Care of Sally has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
