With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shawne S. Seignious, who left this world on August 15, 2026, at the age of 75. Shawne’s journey began on March 17, 1951, in White County, Georgia—a birthplace that would forever shape her gentle spirit and steadfast resilience.

From an early age, Shawne showed a profound vibrance and creativity, finding joy in the simplest of pleasures. Her childhood was lovingly guided by her parents, J D and Rosena Smith, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.

Shawne’s passion for artistry was evident to all who knew her. She found beauty in creating, spending many fulfilling hours making journals and candles—gifts often shared with those she loved. This creative spark also led her to modeling, and after graduating from modeling school, Shawne faithfully gave back by teaching others, sharing not only her knowledge but also her encouragement and confidence.

The heart of Shawne’s world was her family. She was a beloved wife to C.. Wilson Seignious, whose devotion and companionship stood as a testament to their cherished life together. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Christa McDearis and Melissa Arnold, guiding them with unwavering love, patience, and warmth. Shawne’s sister, Cat Smith, will deeply mourn her absence but hold her memory close, grateful for the lifelong bond they treasured.
