Stanley Floyd Morris, Jr., affectionately known as Jay, passed away on June 20, 2026. Born on July 16, 1962, in Albany, Georgia, Jay’s life was a journey marked by adventure, resilience, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He could spin a yarn that kept you entertained, engaged, and wondering how much of this tale is really true. And if you ever shared a meal with him, you knew his pure enjoyment of “good groceries”.

If you were fortunate enough to be counted as family or friend, you knew he could be counted on to come to the rescue at the drop of a hat. Though his time with us ended all too soon, the legacy he leaves behind is one defined by love, loyalty, and a heartfelt devotion to those he held dear. He told us often that his boys were his greatest contribution to the world.

Jay will be dearly missed, but he will continue to be carried in the hearts of all who knew him.
