Tamara "Tami" Leigh
Caspersen
May 24, 1964 — Jul 8, 2026
Woodstock, Georgia
Tamara “Tami” Leigh Caspersen, a deeply loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, was called home to be with her Lord on July 8, 2026. She was 62 years old.
Born in Warren, Indiana on May 24, 1964, Tami brought an abundance of light, joy, and warmth into the world from the very beginning. She spent her life cultivating deep connections, leaving a lasting legacy of love and faith with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Life of Joy, Faith, and Connection
Tami was truly the life of the party. With a natural gift for hospitality, she loved planning events and bringing people together to create unforgettable memories. Her vibrant energy was contagious, but it was her deeply caring heart that truly defined her. As a dedicated prayer warrior, Tami’s faith was her anchor. She poured her heart into lifting others up, offering a listening ear, and standing as a steadfast pillar of support for her friends and family. She expressed her love generously, finding immense joy in giving thoughtful gifts and ensuring that the people in her life felt seen, appreciated, and cherished. Above all, Tami adored her children and treasured every moment of quality time spent with those she loved.
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”2 Corinthians 12:9
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah 29:11
Tami’s laughter, her generous spirit, and her unwavering faith will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, wrapped in the eternal embrace of her Creator.
Family Legacy
Tami’s love lives on through the family she so fiercely adored. Survived by her husband John Caspersen, her children Jeremiah Caspersen (wife Emma Caspersen), Ciara Grace Caspersen, her sister Shelley Brady (husband Michael Brady), her nephews Corwin Boyd (wife Jenna Boyd), and Carson Boyd (wife Jamie Boyd, kids Brittney and Charles Boyd). Tami was preceded in death by her father George Dye, mother Lois Dye, niece, Brittany Michael Boyd.
