Tammy Lynn Brookshire, born on October 10, 1967, in Rockmart, Georgia, departed this earthly realm peacefully at home on March 3, 2026. She was a radiant spirit whose light illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Tammy found deep joy in nurturing connections with people, sharing smiles and warmth with all who entered her heart.

Her educational journey began at Adairsville High School, and she spent time at Berry College, where she undoubtedly cultivated the kindness and compassion that would define her character. Tammy was a beacon of positivity, celebrated for her ability to uplift those around her and infuse everyday moments with laughter and light.

Tammy was a devoted mother and beloved daughter, loving aunt and Mimi, cherishing every opportunity to be surrounded by friends and family. Her passions were as vibrant as her personality— tending to her cherished flower garden, painting and coloring with an artist's spirit, and spending time with her cherished fur baby Maggie .She also spent time cooking delightful meals for gatherings which were among the simple yet profound pleasures she embraced with fervor, a manifestation of her love for those she held dear.

Tammy is survived by her loving daddy, Edward Higdon; her cherished daughter, Stormi Higdon (husband John Barry); and her loving son, Chance Brookshire. Additionally, she leaves behind two step-granddaughters, Emma and Aria, and a host of nephews and nieces who she loved profoundly that will carry fond memories of her warmth and laughter.

She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Barbara Ann Williams; her cherished step-mother, Patricia Higdon; and her beloved brother, Fred Lee Bell. The legacy of Tammy’s love and light shall forever endure, echoing through the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be determined in the future, where all who cherished this extraordinary woman will gather to reflect on the joyous moments and indelible impact she made during her time among us. May her spirit continue to inspire all who knew her, reminding us of the beauty in connection, kindness, and love.
