IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tereasa Lynne
Moyer
November 10, 1951 – February 15, 2026
Tereasa Lynne Moyer, fondly known as Terri, graced the world with her presence on November 10, 1951, in Marion, Indiana, and departed from it on February 15, 2026. Her life was a testament to the joy found in companionship, a spirit most evident in her deep affection for family and friends.
From a young age, Terri exhibited an exuberant love for gathering her loved ones, often inviting them to revel in the camaraderie of card games—be it Euchre, Canasta, or Back Alley. These cherished evenings glowed with laughter and friendly competition, echoing the warmth of her generous heart. It is this vivacious spirit that will forever linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share these moments with her.
While Tereasa did not have children of her own, she nurtured two beloved dachshunds, Ginger and later Cinnamon, who filled her life with immeasurable joy and companionship. Terri's bond with her furry companions exemplified her nurturing nature and her capacity for love, demonstrating that family can be drawn as much from those of the two-legged variety as from those with four.
She carries the profound legacy of her relationships: her brothers, Kevin Rice and Guy Rice, alongside many cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her keen spirit and unyielding support. Terri's life has been illuminated by the laughter and wisdom imparted through their connections, and her absence will be felt most deeply in these familial ties.
Terri is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Moyer, whose memory she holds dear, as well as her parents, Gayle Rice and Gene Kirkwood, and her beloved sister, Cherie Sims. Each of these individuals played a role in shaping the radiant soul that Terri became, creating a sense of family that transcended generations.
As we reflect upon Tereasa Lynne Moyer's journey, let us remember her generosity of spirit, her contagious laughter, and the countless moments shared around a card table. Her legacy of warmth, love, and community will undoubtedly continue to inspire all who were privy to her extraordinary life.
Care of Terri has been entrusted to In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation Providers.
