Tyron Michael Blackstock

Tyron Michael Blackstock, born on October 31, 1968, in Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Fairmount, Georgia. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. Those who knew Tyron often remarked on his ability to bring joy to any situation, proving that a good sense of humor can brighten even the most ordinary of days.

Tyron dedicated a significant part of his life to a career in over-the-road trucking, where he not only honed his skills but also created countless memories traversing the open roads. His love for adventure extended to his hobbies, particularly his passion for riding motorcycles. Tyron had aspirations of purchasing a particular Harley Davidson bike, showcasing his adventurous spirit and zest for life.

Family was of utmost importance to Tyron. He is survived by his mother, Rhonda T. Mealer; father, Bennie Blackstock (Rita); son, Cameron Blackstock (Amber); daughter, Brooke Stitcher (Cecil); brother, Eric Blackstock; nephew, Lance Blackstock; and niece, Lindsey Blackstock. Each family member cherished their time spent with him and will forever hold on to the laughter and love he brought into their lives.

Tyron joins in eternal rest several loved ones who have preceded him: Boyd “Bud” Blackstock, Doris Blackstock, Herbert Temples, and Jewell Temples. Their memory will continue to live on through the stories shared by Tyron and his family.

A memorial service to celebrate Tyron’s life will be held on July 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Baptist Church, located at 3855 GA-140 in Rydal, Georgia. Friends and family are welcomed to come together in remembrance and to honor the legacy of a man who genuinely loved being surrounded by those he called family. Tyron's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
