Walter Edward McKinney

Walter Edward McKinney, fondly known as Sparky, was born on October 6, 1954, in Norfolk, Virginia. He peacefully passed away on July 5, 2025, in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Sparky proudly served his country as a Navy veteran, demonstrating dedication and commitment throughout his service. His presence brought joy to many, and his spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by friends and family who cherished every moment spent with him. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived and the countless memories he created. Walter Edward McKinney will be missed dearly but remembered always.

A memorial service for Sparky will be held at The American Legion Post 305 in Fairmount, Ga on July 26, 2025 at 3pm.
