Wayne Bobich, born on April 28, 1939, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. His journey through life was defined by his unwavering devotion to family, deep loyalty to friends, and a genuine warmth that drew others to him.

Wayne was the beloved husband of Paulette Bobich, to whom he was devoted and whose partnership filled his days with happiness. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was the family they built together—a testament to a lifetime of love and dedication. Wayne’s affection and generosity will be remembered always by his children: sons Michael (Rita) Bobich, Ryan (Heather)Dodd, Travis (Julia) Dodd, and Mark (Adriana) Bobich, and daughters Beth Ann (Tony) Karkainen, Diana Roach, and Amber Duncan. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Gina (Larry) Leo, whose bond with Wayne was steadfast throughout the years.

Family was the heart of Wayne’s world. He especially cherished his grandchildren, Morgan (Jack) Langford, Taylor, Luke, Teagan, and Crew Dodd, Dylan and Hayden Karkanian, Brianna Trevino, and Payton Roach. He was known by all for his generosity, ever ready with a smile or a joke, and his happiness was multiplied by the presence of those he held most dear. Those who knew Wayne understood the special place he gave to each person in his life and felt the warmth of his caring spirit.

Wayne’s love for life was reflected in his many interests. He took great pleasure in watching sports—a passionate supporter of Steelers football, never missing a game if he could help it. He enjoyed time spent on the golf course, the camaraderie and skill found at the poker table, and peaceful walks with his dog, Lucky. Sportsmanship, leisure, and companionship were central to his days and brought him closer to many friends.

An accomplished athlete, Wayne played football for Indiana University of Pennsylvania—an experience that shaped not only his physical abilities but his team spirit and leadership qualities, traits he demonstrated throughout his career and family life. His professional accomplishments included serving as the Regional Southeast Vice President at Avis, a role in which his integrity and dedication were widely respected.

Wayne’s memory will be cherished by all those who survive him. He was preceded in death by his father, George (June) Bobich, and his mother, Mary Dojcinovic, as well as his siblings Frank Cortazzo, Gail Pristera, and Marie DInardo and his beloved dog Beau. Their memories are interwoven with his story, forming the rich tapestry of the Bobich family’s legacy.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all whose lives he touched.
