William Milton Hicks "Sutton", passed away on December 9, 2025.He was born on May 19 ,1944 He was  retired from Shaw Industries and Prince Street in Cartersville, having also worked at Sheboygan Paint and MarGlenn carpet mills.                            

William is survived by his daughter's, Melissa (Missy) Sutton and Sandra Marlene Sutton Craig, as well as his son and daughter-in-law, Wallace (Wally) and Tammy Sutton. He is survived by his sisters, Helen Austin from Arizona and Diane Badgero from Rome, Georgia, numerous grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive 

Though he has departed, William is reunited with his beloved wife, Clara Elizabeth Williams Sutton, and his daughter, Jackie Sutton Fincher. He is also preceded in death by his infant son, James Sutton, and brothers Earl, Billy, Charles, Marvin, and Donald Hicks, along with his sister, Faye Lipsey and his  parents William Taft Hicks Elsie Ratcliffe and adopted mom Jackie Sutton. Mr.Sutton wishes is to be cremated and they will be a memorial service at a later date
