Wilma Grace Mauren, a beacon of faith and an inspiring educator, left this world on February 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 18, 1934, in Kearny, New Jersey, Wilma devoted her life to overseas missions, church leadership, and school teaching. She received a bachelor's degree from Nyack Missionary College and did coursework toward a master's degree that laid the groundwork for her impactful career.

A passionate advocate for sharing the gospel, Wilma found purpose in talking about Jesus and spreading His message. After pastoring in Defiance, Ohio and a brief stint as missionaries in Thailand with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Church, she and her husband Chuck pastored C&MA churches in Turnersville, New Jersey; Orange Park, Florida; Chesterfield, Virginia; Essex, Maryland; and Lehigh Acres, Florida, while also teaching elementary school children. During their later years, they organized and led Life Groups at Good Samaritan Village in Kissimmee, Florida.

Wilma's unwavering faith and commitment to her beliefs touched the hearts of many and served as a source of inspiration for those she encountered throughout her life. Her evangelistic spirit and heart for Jesus made her not just a pastor's wife and teacher, but also a profound influence in the lives of her students, family, and community.

Wilma is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan Wright and her husband Bill; Jon Mauren; Dan Mauren; and Cindy Malvicini and her husband Pete. She leaves her cherished grandchildren: Alex Mauren and his wife Hanna; Chris Malvicini and his wife Maddy; Brett Mauren; and Elise Malvicini Tretina and her husband Kyle. A new generation of her legacy is on the horizon, with a great-granddaughter expected in March. She also leaves her three brothers, Bill Richwine; John Richwine and his wife Sue; and David Richwine.

Wilma’s beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" William Mauren, who predeceased her, remains in the hearts of those who loved them both deeply.

As we remember Wilma, a service will be held in her honor on March 6 at 1 p.m. in Mount Paran North Church, 1700 Allgood Road NE, in Marietta, Georgia. This will be a time for family and friends to gather and celebrate a life lived with purpose, grace, and faith. Wilma’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives she has touched, and her teachings will echo in the hearts of many for years to come.
