Winford proudly served in the Army, embracing his commitment to duty and country with honor. As a father, his gentle spirit illuminated the lives of his two sons, Bobby Parker and Billy Parker. They carry forward his values and lessons, instilling in their own children the essence of their father’s loving nature.

Winford was a proud grandfather, leaving behind a beautiful legacy in his grandchildren. His two granddaughters, Sarahlee and Lilly Parker, and his two grandsons, Steven and David Parker, will forever hold dear the moments they shared with him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, James William Parker and Bessie Maybell Nixon Parker, and his siblings, brothers William Parker, Albert Parker, and Billy Parker, as well as his sister, Martha Croy.
