Joshua Michael Neighbors passed away May 25, 2024 due to a motorcycle accident. Josh was born in Soldotna, Alaska on June 3, 1982 to Joel Neighbors and Yvonne Brackett.

Josh moved to Talking Rock, Georgia with his parents and sister, Shelly, in 1993. After high school, Josh completed his oil and gas courses and went to work as a Derrickman with Nabors Drilling in Anchorage, Alaska. After years working in the oil and gas industry, Josh returned to Georgia and pursued a career as an arborist, while deeply loving his four children Jacob, Jada, Bryson and Joseph. As a hands on learner and a jack of all trades, Josh was successful with anything he set his mind to.

Josh lived life to the fullest and shared many adventures with his children, family and friends. An avid fisherman, daredevil and a lover of nature, Josh was always going after the next big venture. Never one to say no or back down from a dare, Josh made a memorable impression with every person he met. He had a knack for connecting with people and he touched many lives.

Josh is survived by his daughter Jada Neighbors, and his three sons Jacob Watkins, Bryson and Joseph Neighbors; parents Joel and Jane Neighbors, mother Yvonne Brackett; sisters Shelly (Walker) Shealey, Ashley (Cannon) Rose, Kayleigh (Jeromy) Krizman; grandparents: Rhoda Neighbors, Jim Conley, Betty Wallhagen; nephews Jackson Haygood, Porter Shealey, lan and Mason Krizman; nieces Lara Haygood and Krislynn Shealey; aunt Tish McQueen; uncles Hank Neighbors, Alan Conley and Wesley Conley.

A Celecration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1036 N Main St, Jasper, GA. Visitation from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and service at 4:00pm.
